As an Applications Technician, you’ll play a critical role in our innovation pipeline by supporting the development and application of clean-label ingredients for the meat and poultry industry.
You will be part of a collaborative R&D team, translating customer needs into innovative ingredient solutions and providing technical support throughout the product development lifecycle.

- Assist with new product development projects and customer-driven formulations.
- Perform bench and pilot-scale experiments and support commercial plant trials.
- Partner with customers to demonstrate ingredient functionality and value.
- Evaluate ingredient performance for texture, flavor, shelf-life, and overall quality.
- Create technical documentation such as formulas, specs, and test protocols.
- Collaborate with marketing, innovation, and sales teams to align on project goals
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Meat Science or related discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in meat processing or product development.
- Strong technical knowledge of muscle chemistry and processed meat systems.
- Effective communicator with excellent presentation and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Work Environment:
- May involve exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts and Sesame.
