With a major ERP rollout planned and a clear roadmap for growth, this is a rare opportunity to shape the future of operations finance in a business that’s scaling nationally.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

The Head of Finance - Operations role is a strategic leadership position. You’ll oversee a technically strong team of accountants, partner closely with operations leaders, and drive performance through sharper reporting, smarter cost control, and process innovation. You’ll be the key finance partner to the Operations Director, helping unlock efficiencies and build a best-in-class finance function that supports manufacturing excellence.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing operational accounting team with clear goals and continuous improvement focus.
  • Oversee financial operations including capital tracking, fixed assets, inventory, and monthly reporting.
  • Drive cost control by partnering with operations to identify anomalies and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and support internal and external audits.
  • Champion improvement through ERP implementation and streamlined financial processes.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • CPA qualified with deep experience in manufacturing finance.
  • Proven leadership of accounting teams, ideally in FMCG or industrial settings.
  • Strong grasp of standard costing, inventory, and capital reporting.
  • ERP savvy—SAP experience a big plus.
  • A natural communicator who can engage teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable being onsite five days a week, with occasional travel to other states.
