Our Learning and Development department is currently seeking a developer to join our team. We are looking for an innovative and creative professional with strong technical curiosity and a passion for learning. This role is responsible for designing and developing forward-thinking learning solutions that support and enhance our culture of lifelong learning. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to help shape impactful educational experiences across the organization. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:

  • create immersive and interactive learning experiences by leveraging a wide range of technologies to develop online courses, videos, graphics, simulations, gamified content and job aids that captivate learners and drive meaningful outcomes
  • apply current instructional design theory and best practices to develop effective learning solutions
  • collaborate with Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and stakeholders to understand project scope, objectives, and timelines; 

    provide input prior to development to ensure engaging, effective learning experiences; and review projects to incorporate feedback while maintaining alignment with deadlines

  • review and continuously improve existing online content library based on feedback from learners and stakeholders/SMEs
  • manage all project assets by maintaining an organized system for tracking versions of source files, graphics, videos, and documents to ensure smooth collaboration and project continuity
  • drive the success and adoption of learning solutions by working with SME’s to strategically market completed projects with a clear focus on their end goals, ensuring maximum visibility, audience engagement, and measurable impact
  • stay ahead of emerging learning technologies, platforms, and best practices by conducting ongoing research and seamlessly integrating innovative solutions into projects to enhance learning effectiveness and operational efficiency

Be equipped with:

  • proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise), Vyond, Adobe Captivate or Camtasia
  • experience in audio/video production, graphics/animation design using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • understanding and knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM, xAPI, Learning Record Stores (LRS), HTML5, JavaScript and their role in effective delivery of learning content
  • a creative eye and strong understanding of layout and visual design principles to produce visually engaging and effective learning assets and interfaces
  • excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical/problem solving skills
  • strong prototyping skills with the ability to effectively communicate and explore potential ideas in collaboration with team, stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • detail-oriented with excellent time management skills while working on multiple projects; utilizing Monday.com for project management
  • team player mentality that is energized by ongoing collaboration with co-workers in all facets of the design, development and review process

Bring education and experience from:

  • bachelor’s degree in instructional systems, learning technologies, visual design or other related discipline
  • 2+ years of related experience developing learning solutions (e.g., eLearning, videos, simulations, graphics, job aids, etc.)
  • a link to a portfolio of existing projects or past work to demonstrate abilities is required
