Overview:
Softtek Government Solutions is in search for a Vice President of Solutions Engineering who will work directly under the CEO of the company. This strategic executive coordinate design of customer presentations and technical solutions, focusing on delivering solutions to meet clients’ needs, and support company’s revenue growth. This role will also be responsible for optimizing pre-sales processes, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring to leverage company’s local and global capabilities to deliver innovative, creative, effective and efficient solutions that create value for our clients and differentiate us from the competition.
Responsibilities:
The following is a summarized list of major responsibilities for this role:
- Introduce and connect the Growth Team with key decision makers within his professional network
- Leverage all Softtek Gov’t Solution capabilities and Global capabilities to lead design of customer solutions when responding to RFP’s
- Support the growth team in creation of customer presentations both commercial and technical to successfully position Softtek Gov’t Solutions as a key supplier for government federal agencies
- Deliver presentations to customers and target audiences of Softtek capabilities and thought leadership to improve Softtek Gov’t Solutions positioning in the market
- Create whitepapers to support positioning of Softtek Offerings
- Coordinate with the Growth team Improvement of Softtek Gov’t Solutions website that better reflects Softtek Gov’t Solutions capabilities and service offerings
- Create and manage strategic partnerships with technology providers that can improve Softtek Gov’t Solutions capabilities
- Coordinate with both VP of Operations and VP of Growth annual strategy with Technology Partners such as Microsoft, AWS, etc.
- Create data analytics and intelligence reports that would better support alignment of Softtek Gov’t Solutions capabilities to customers missions, priorities and budget, including but not limited to spend analytics, competition/incumbent analysis and key agencies decision makers profiles and timing
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, or a related technical role within a B2B SaaS company, with at least 3-5 years in leadership or executive-level capacity
- Deep technical expertise in SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and solution architecture
- Proven track record of leading successful pre-sales or solutions engineering teams, with demonstrated success in revenue growth through technical sales support
- Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience in building and developing high-performance teams
- Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and technical sales tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic and data-driven approach
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with enterprise clients and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
- Familiarity with Government acquisition process relevant to the company’s product offerings.
- High Teamwork, collaboration and communication skills both spoken and written.
