Summary: Customer Service and Guest Relations. General Work in all areas of the restaurant including cashiering, bussing tables, stocking supplies and general cleaning and snow removal. Serves restaurant customer by performing the following duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of products and food sold and ability to ring them in to the POS system correctly and consistently
Maintains accuracy and security of cash drawer in accordance with RTP and management standards.
Ensures sales of alcoholic beverages are in accordance with government laws and company regulations
Maintains clean and organized work area with sanitation requirements.
Busses, cleans and re-sets all dining areas throughout service, sanitizing tables and seating
Maintains retail, beverage stations and service areas area by re-stocking items and refilling condiments.
Maintains water containers, in numerous locations, to keep them filled through service hours.
Picks up trash, spills and disposables and puts in appropriate refuse containers.
transports soiled glassware, silverware, trays to dishwasher; when washed and dried, returns them to stock
Monitors venue refuse and recycling containers, emptying as necessary and replacing with clean trash bags. Carries filled trash bags, and recycling to designated disposal bins
Receives deliveries, rotates stock, organizes and maintains clean and orderly storage areas.
Breaks down boxes for recycling.
Vacuums, cleans the restaurant before and after service
Stocks, cleans and maintains bathrooms before, during and after service.
Shovels and removes snow from decks and all other designated areas in accordance with safety regulations.
Resupplies bars with kegs, beer bottles, wine, and any items needed.
Observes and follows all sanitation requirements.
Move furniture as needed in dining area set up, and to allow snow/ice removal as needed.
Set up and break down furniture in outside areas, in preparation for storms, grooming, or snow clearance.
Stock fire wood and maintain fireplace during service, if applicable.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required. Cashiering experience preferred, but not required. High School diploma or GED; or current Student status
Language Skills:
Working knowledge of spoken English. Read, understand and write simple English. Knowledge of other languages a plus.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate percentages helpful.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform cashiering portion of job successfully, an individual must be able to learn and operate POS and be able to process transactions competently.
Other Qualifications:
Must have working knowledge of US Currency, coins and paper denominations
Know how to operate and maintain all front of the house equipment.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Employees of On-Mountain venues must be able to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level, and be able to pass company on-mountain assessment.
Must have current certification from recognized Alcohol Service Training
Must be able to work effectively at altitude of 10,000 ft or above.
Must be able to function effectively in inclement weather conditions.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. You must be able to ski or snowboard at intermediate level or above, and have your own equipment. You will have to pass an on-snow skills assessment before you will be able to work. Employment is contingent on passing this assessment.

The pay rate for this position is $15.50/hr. This position does have the ability to earn tips.
