Responsible for maintenance and repair of all factory machines and test equipment as well as aligning priorities concerning the daily Maintenance effort.
Key Responsibilities
• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per Franklin Fueling Systems.
• Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate maintenance functions.
• Responsible for maintenance and repair of all factory machines and test equipment.
• Perform grounds upkeep and snow removal as required.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and Facility repairs.
• Assists Janitorial staff as required.
• Responsible for consulting Maintenance Supervisor concerning best maintenance practices and equipment concerns.
• Assists preventative maintenance as required.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists Maintenance Supervisor in any additional duties when requested.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Skills and Abilities
• Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks
• Must be proficient in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulic principles, repairs and trouble shooting.
• Prior PLC knowledge is preferred, but not required.
• Reads and interpret electrical, pneumatic and mechanical and hydraulic drawing and prints.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• One year or more experience working in a maintenance type position (preferred).
Computer Skills
• Basic computer knowledge (required.)
• CMMS Maintenance Software (required.)
Certificates and Licenses
• Industrial Maintenance (preferred, but not required.)

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include regular peripheral viewing; viewing length changes; close viewing with depth perception; and occasional distance viewing.
- Specific hearing abilities required by this job include the need to perceive the spoken voice clearly and the need to hear warning signals up to 70dbs with or without assistance.
- Specific speech abilities regularly required by this job include comprehensible speech.
