To enhance our support, ITV is restructuring its Third Party Payments team, shifting towards a compliance-focused approach to inspire change, ensure policy adherence, and optimise workflow efficiency making the purchase to pay process flawless.

 

The role..

We are currently seeking two highly motivated and meticulous Master Data Experts to be responsible for and own the quality, consistency, and accuracy of supplier data on a Permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Purchase To Pay Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for defining, governing, and maintaining master data, ensuring it is complete and consistent across various systems, impacting various departments and processes. Your work will support data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and paying suppliers on time. 

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier and business data inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Create, maintain, and update supplier master data across multiple systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Paris).
  • Detect and mitigate fraud, implement data governance, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies through audits, reviews, and analysis of large data sets.
  • Support continuous process improvements in collaboration with the Global Process Owner and cross-functional teams.
    Collaborate with teams (e.g., Procurement, Tax, Treasury) to align on master data and prevent payment issues.
  • Train and support staff on master data standard methodologies and system usage; maintain up-to-date SOPs.
  • Track team critical metrics, give to performance improvements, and support onboarding of new team members.
    Take ownership of personal development, stay current on policies and tools, and actively participate in performance discussions.

 

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Significant experience working within a Supplier Master Data team and can demonstrate a significant understanding of the Supplier Master Data process.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Oracle, SAP) and proficiency in Excel.
  • Can demonstrate a good understanding of the Accounts Payable and Payment processes which are impacted by Master Data.
  • Can provide evidence of handling supplier data information and detailed country specific requirements
  • Can provide evidence of analysing, presenting and improving data to management, business areas and teams. 
  • Can demonstrate a strong competency of problem solving with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Experience of working in a shared service centre preferred

  • Able to analyse and present data highlighting trends.
  • Able to navigate sophisticated processes and provide recommendations.
  • Curiosity with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Risk and fraud awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to explain root cause findings, trend analysis and process improvement suggestions.
