Digital Marketing Specialist Job Description (Contractor)
We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Analytics Specialist to join our growing digital marketing team. This role is critical in helping us understand the performance of our digital marketing efforts, optimize campaigns, and drive data-informed decisions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, and digital ad platforms, and will be passionate about uncovering insights that improve marketing ROI.
Skills and Experience
Attribution & Performance Tracking
- Develop and maintain comprehensive attribution models to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing channels.
- Track and analyze user journeys across digital touchpoints to understand conversion paths and drop-off points.
Web & Campaign Analytics
- Monitor and report on website performance using Adobe Analytics, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Analyze B2B and B2C digital advertising campaigns (search, display, social, etc.) and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain dashboards and regular reports for stakeholders using tools such as Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, and Excel.
- Present findings and recommendations to marketing leadership and cross-functional teams.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with digital marketers to ensure accurate tagging and tracking across all digital assets.
- Support A/B testing initiatives and contribute to data-driven campaign planning.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics or a related field.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Analytics is required.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and KPIs (SEO, SEM, display, social, email).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems.
- Experience with SQL or other data querying languages.
- Knowledge of marketing attribution models (first-touch, last-touch, multi-touch).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
