The Material Handler I is responsible for the movement of various materials and products through a variety of means, including manual sorting and placement. What You'll Be Doing:


Reporting to the Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for the movement of various materials and products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring safe movement of products or merchandise.

  • Reviewing products or merchandise to ensure proper placement.

  • All other duties as assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

  • Adjusting to new reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules to meet company needs and business requirements.

  • Consistent and reliable attendance at work is an essential function of this job.

  • Experience in a warehouse or similar production environment is preferred.

  • Strong commitment to safety procedures.

  • Attention to detail for ensuring proper placement of products.

  • Reliability and a dependable work ethic.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Willingness to perform a variety of physical tasks.


Physical Requirements:


  • This is a physically demanding role that requires constant standing and walking.

  • You must be able to perform manual sorting and product placement tasks.

  • The ability to lift and move products or merchandise repeatedly is required.


Work Environment:


  • This is a non-climate-controlled warehouse and production environment.

  • You may be exposed to dust, noise, and fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold).

  • All duties require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
