Job Title: Assistant Production Manager - 2nd Shift
Summary Direct and coordinate activities for assigned shift of production employees engaged in processing and assembly of Hub bearings assemblies.
Salary Range: $110,000 to $120,000
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At ANBM, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain a safe workplace and improve safety performance.
- Coach and develop subordinates.
- Plan production operations and coordinate manufacturing activities on assigned shift.
- Manage all manufacturing processes to ensure that quality remains at the highest levels and customer requirements are met.
- Identify improvement opportunities and follow up with implementation.
- Communicate effectively with Department Manager and support departments.
- Monitor KPIs and identify countermeasures to improve results.
- Direct and motivate employees to achieve daily objectives and organizational goals.
- Performs problem solving using root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
- Maintain production and quality outputs to specification by establishing and enforcing the organization’s standards. This includes, as needed, place products on hold, remove products from hold, and stop the production line for detection of non-conforming product.
