Position Summary

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines. This role is crucial to maintaining kitchen efficiency and delivering an exceptional dining experience to guests.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment

· Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times

· Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory to minimize waste

· Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and follow instructions from supervisors

· Monitor food portions, presentation, and quality before serving

· Support in closing and cleaning duties, including equipment and workstation sanitation

· Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role is strongly preferred

· Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and safety procedures

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
