We are looking for Server Assistants and Food Runners for our Member Dining Rooms! These critical supporting roles are responsible for working in concert with the Servers, and other Front of House operations during our busy and varied mealtimes.  These positions report to the Club's Assistant Manager’s.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for teamwork, a professional demeanor, a strong work ethic and an eye for detail. The ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clear and Reset Tables: Remove used dishes, wipe surfaces, and reset with proper silverware, glassware, and linens. Help with polishing and placing flatware, glasses, and chargers in a precise, elegant manner.
• Refill Water and Beverages: Top off water glasses and assist with other non-alcoholic refills as appropriate.
• Support Servers During Service: Bring bread, deliver condiments, or assist in running food and clearing plates as needed.
• Maintain the Dining Room's Cleanliness: Sweep floors, polish silverware and glassware, and ensure all guest areas remain immaculate.
• Anticipate Member Needs: Proactively assist guests with napkins, chair adjustments, or other comfort requests without being asked.
• Stock Service Stations: Replenish linen, napkins, cutlery, water pitchers, and other service items.
• Deliver Food to Tables: Transport dishes from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly and gracefully.
• Explain Dishes: Be familiar with menu items, ingredients, and presentation to describe dishes when needed.
• Ensure Proper Plate Presentation: Double-check plating, garnishes, temperature, and cleanliness before delivery.
• Coordinate with Kitchen and Servers: Communicate with chefs and servers to time courses

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Work experience in customer service is preferred.

• Cleanliness and Hygiene: Immaculate personal grooming and adherence to cleanliness standards are non-negotiable.

• Grace Under Pressure: Remains calm and efficient even during peak service hours.
• Physical Stamina: Long hours on foot, carrying trays, and resetting tables require endurance and strength.
• Discipline and Punctuality: Always on time, follows dress code strictly, and adheres to service protocols.
• Willingness to Learn: Absorbs feedback and learns from senior staff to grow within the restaurant.
