About the role

As a AVP – Finance, you will make an impact by holding financial accountability for the Americas CMT Business: Revenue, Profit, and Cash. This role is accountable for the Americas CMT Business, totaling more than $2.0B in company revenue, as well as the point of contact for the coordination across Americas pricing organization as well as interfacing with the offshore pricing COE. You will be a valued member of the CMT and business leadership team and work collaboratively with the Americas CFO, CMT business, other stakeholders and teams, and clients.  

In this role, you will:

• Own the end-to-end planning, budgeting, and forecasting process for the CMT business

• Own end-to-end CMT P&L and P&L Performance, including accountability of impact from large deals

• Identify risks and opportunities, drive process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage staff

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to support the organizations financial health and strategic goals

• Provide timely data and reporting to CMT business leadership team and align business targets with CMT business leadership

• Own CMT financial management policies, CMT analytics and reporting, CMT organization and talent programs, Americas pricing coordination etc.

  What you need to have to be considered

• 20+ years of Finance experience, with a minimum 10 years in leadership roles, preferably in a similar consulting organization

• 10+ years of experience in professional services, technology, or IT services industry

• Expertise in multi-functional finance including but not limited to FP&A, Controllership, Pricing, and M&A, budgeting and forecasting, managing fiscal operations etc.

• Expertise within a large, global, highly matrixed corporate environment

• Solid understanding of accounting principles (like GAAP), financial modeling, and financial management systems

  These will help you succeed

• Previous experience within professional services, technology, or IT services industry

• Previous experience within a large, global, highly matrixed corporate environment

• Previous experience managing global diverse teams

• Effective communication skills to clearly articulate vision thus building and leading effective teams across various geographies

Work model –

For hybrid roles: We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Noida, India.
