Job Purpose
To carry out engineering critical assessments (ECA) of subsea pipelines, ensuring accordance with the industry codes and standards, and client's specifications.
Job Description
- Carrying out ECA tasks and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of deliverables
- Provide ECA support to concept studies, tendering, and projects
- Performing checking of analysis work of peer ECA analysts
- Clearly communicating with internal and external stakeholders via technical reports and presentations
- Developing and standardizing engineering tools and methods
You are meant for this job if:
- Degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline
- Sound knowledge of fracture mechanics. Expertise in understanding and analyzing crack propagation
- Knowledge of material properties, including tensile strength, toughness, and resistance to environmental degradation
- Experience as a ECA engineer with a documented history of fracture and fatigue assessment of welded structures
- Proficiency in industry tools and software for fracture and fatigue assessment
- Deep understanding of engineering principles, materials science, fracture mechanics,
- Familiarity with industry integrity assessment codes
- Proven ability to address and solve challenging technical engineering problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly
- Openness and honesty about progress and challenges
