Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Services to oversee financial management, operations, and strategic planning within our district. The ideal candidate will enhance our financial stability, improve operational efficiency, and support the educational mission of our schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the district budget, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and policies.
- Provide leadership in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
- Collaborate with administrators to align business services with educational goals.
- Oversee procurement processes and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports for transparency and compliance.
- Provide training and support for district staff regarding financial procedures and policies.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, community members, and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in business management or finance, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to public education funding.
