Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (may require flexibility in scheduling to include extended hours, weekends)

 

Wage Range: $28-$33 (exempt), we honor based on years of relevant experience

 

Requirements:

  • 4 year degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 2 or more years of related experience, in marketing and community engagement
  • Preferred experience in housing or senior care marketing
  • Knowledge of long term care regulations
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology

 

Job description:

As a Marketing & Move In Mentor you will oversee or be responsible for:

 

Marketing & Communications

  • Develop and manage Samaritan Bethany’s marketing strategy across print, digital, and social media platforms.
  • Maintain and update the organization’s website content to ensure information is current, accessible, and brand-aligned
  • Provides tours of the campus
  • Provides accurate and current information in a friendly, personable manner
  • Answers questions about community, via phone call, email or drop-ins
  • Prepares informational packets about the community
  • Markets services with area hospitals, discharge planners, county case managers, and other referral sources
  • Design and coordinate the production of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, advertisements, and publications.
  • Write compelling content for staff, residents, press releases, email campaigns, and donor communications.
  • Maintains waiting list/data base of inquiries.
  • Provides follow-up with referral sources/families. Includes updating waiting lists.
  • Upholds and follows facility HIPAA privacy and security policies and procedures.
  • Provides information on services and pricing for those interested in housing or care.
  • Corresponds via phone and/or computer with hospital social workers.

 

Move Ins

  • Complete move-in paperwork accurately and in compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate move-ins internally, and those from the hospital, community and waiting list.
  • Inform staff of new residents moving in via email, report at daily stand up meeting.
  • Complete pre-move in screening and circulate it.
  • Complete move-in paperwork with new residents and families

 

Social Media & Digital Strategy

  • Manage and grow the organization’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Develop and schedule regular, engaging content that showcases life at Samaritan Bethany and supports recruitment, fundraising, and public awareness goals.
  • Monitor analytics and trends to adjust strategies for increased visibility and engagement.

 

Event Management

  • Plan and execute internal and external events, including community outreach, open houses, and staff recognition activities.
  • Coordinate event marketing, communications, and promotional efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally with departments to ensure cohesive planning and branding.

 

Facility Branding & Visibility

  • Ensure consistency in brand identity across all signage, internal displays, promotional materials, and online content.
  • Partner with leadership to improve internal communications and foster a connected community atmosphere.

 

Community Engagement

  • Cultivate relationships with local media, organizations, businesses, and key stakeholders to enhance visibility and partnerships.
  • Represent Samaritan Bethany at community events and networking opportunities.
  • Support efforts to recruit staff & volunteers, increase donations, and share impactful stories.
