Job Summary:
The Service Technician is responsible for the repairs to customer equipment in the GRACO repair facility. They will be the front line in contacting and communicating with the customer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent Customer Service for the GRACO Repair Facility
- Receives in customer equipment and troubleshoots to find root cause of the issue; Creates Repair order quotations for parts
- Call customers with estimate of repair costs and time to complete
- Completes repairs on customer equipment
- Completes general maintenance such as oil changes, filters, etc on customer equipment
- Receives and ensures all replacement parts are delivered as ordered Franklin Director of Plant Operations M-F 40 Hours per week 400000 N/A PayScale TS Provides technical services in person and over the phone as needed; Ensures and Tests all finished repairs to customer equipment is complete and operating to standards
- Maintains all tools and equipment in the repair shop Oversees safety in the repair shop to ensure shop is safe ,and equipment is operational
- Responsible to secure and lock up the service area repair shop; Handles waste oil containment
- Oversee snow removal for the entire Franklin Facility; Ensure safety protocols are being followed at all times
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
3 to 5 years of small engine repair
3 to 5 years of mechanical repair experience, electrical experience is a plus
Welding and use of mechanical tools/equipment
Strong customer service experience Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to Detail and Organization
Must successfully complete Graco Master Certified Service Training course for Paint and Texture one week training in Rogers, Minnesota. must be done within the probationary period of 90 days
