Shift

• Casual Employment in Ponoka

• Must be able to work all required shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm (12-hour shifts)

• Other shifts may be available for pick up depending on your Availability

• Work Setting: The role requires providing care in the client's residence, which is a smoking environment

 

Requirements

• HCA Directory Registration in Alberta
• Negative TB Test from within the past 6 months
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector from within the past 6 months
• Personal Care
• Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including but not limited to cleaning, cooking/BBQ, laundry, and general household management
• Experience in providing compassionate care for individuals with brain injuries
• Must be willing to work in a smoking household
• Strong knowledge of the principles of caregiving as well as well as customer service
• Able to communicate in spoken and written English; French proficiency will be deemed an asset 
• Provide high-quality care services to clients with current knowledge of practices for community care
• Physically assist clients with movement and/or repositioning; able to lift 23 kgs., squat, bend, stand and reach
• Reliable mode of transportation; driver's license and automobile
