Otter Products is hiring a Shipping Coordinator to join our amazing distribution center team! The Shipping Coordinator applies developing skills to complete assignments, exercising some independent judgement within defined procedures and established practices to effectively and efficiently schedule routine shipping and freight operations, including creating proper and detailed shipping documentation. This role works interdepartmentally to ensure accuracy of shipments and customer satisfaction/compliance. This role involves the operation of machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to load material onto delivery vehicles in adherence with safety procedures.
**Available Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. MT

For more information visit otterproducts.comResponsibilities:- Creates/Generates Bills of Lading to document shipment contents
- Loads trailers
- Uses UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager, Infor, and Outlook to schedule pick-up of outgoing goods
- Coordinates customers' needs and expectations with carriers to schedule pick-up of goods
- Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments into the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Creates accurate customs declarations for international shipments
- Ships hazardous materials in accordance with all CDOT, IMDG, and IATA regulations
- Routing/booking shipments via the use of customer routing portals online
- Ships in accordance with all customer routing/ shipping requirements and stays current on routing guide amendments
- Review packing slips, commercial invoices and other documentation related to standard commerce
- Demonstrate accuracy, responsibility and thoroughness of all shipping records
- Operate forklift when needed
- Run shipping metrics report to ensure business needs are met
- Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year of shipping experience required
- Fork Lift experience preferred, current certification is highly preferred
