JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for accounts receivable functions including processing of daily sales transaction, payments and member billing.

Must be customer service oriented and have a strong attention for detail and accuracy.


COMPENSATION:

Starting at $20/hr. - Can increase depending upon experience


JOB DUTIES:

  1. Reconciles daily sales transactions from all departments and updates to member statements
  2. Prepares daily deposits and accurately posts to member accounts
  3. Posts payments received through various electronic payments files
  4. Codes and processes manual tickets for all non-POS transactions
  5. Reviews banquet billings to ensure proper postings to member accounts
  6. Maintains UBI master spreadsheet on a monthly basis
  7. Reconciles other club bills and communicate with account dept from other clubs as necessary on member’s behalf
  8. Assists members with resolutions to all billing inquiries
  9. Prepare and process all manual adjustments.
  10. Work with CFO and Department Managers as necessary to improve billing accuracy
  11. Updates member mailing addresses and contact information
  12. Provides assistance as needed for members accessing website and online payment system
  13. Assists with preparation of monthly member statements as directed by CFO
  14. Maintains delinquent list and sends appropriate delinquent letter as necessary
  15. Complete month end process for AR and send out all monthly statements
  16. Assist with various reports in preparation for annual audit
  17. Serves as receptionist for the business office as well as back up for main club receptionist as needed
  18. Assists Membership Director with administrative responsibilities as needed
  19. Assist with special projects as needed by CFO or Membership Director

  • Frequent sitting.

Other Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is a plus
  • Previous Jonas software experience a plus!
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented.
  • Must have effective time management and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with employees and members is a must.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • A strong customer service background in necessary.
