Emergency Technicians to join our Emergency Department team at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. Positions available may include Day or Evening shifts and will work 12-hour shift. Various hours and shifts to be discussed during an interview as there may be full-time or part-time options available.
The Emergency Services Technician role is a non-licensed health care employee who performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). These duties may include, but are not limited to ECGs, vital signs, monitoring, basic patient care and transportation. Responds appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on the emergency department scope of service.

Required Qualifications:
- Certification as an EMT or completion of an accredited EMT course. or equivalent education/experience
- Demonstrated equivalency (such as experience as a Corpsman or MD)
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: Emergency Medical Technician License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Basic EKG course
- Coursework/Training: California Emergency Medical Technician License or
- 1 year EMT experience
- 1 year Emergency Department experience
