EHS Site Lead, Skelmersdale UK (m/f/*)
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the EHS Site Lead for our manufacturing site located in Skelmersdale, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading enhancements in the site's EHS Management Systems and supporting related activities such as risk assessments and incident investigations
Promoting EHS cultural improvement initiatives
Providing technical guidance and spearheading risk reduction efforts in a site with various hazards related to the assembly and production of Scott Safety breathing apparatus and filters, including supporting the introduction of new equipment
Collaborating with employees across all levels and departments within the organization, while actively participating as a member of the West Europe EHS team and the site leadership team at Skelmersdale.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
NEBOSH diploma or an equivalent qualification in an EHS-related field
Experience in EHS management
Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience in collaborating with production teams
Proven ability in managing, coaching, and leading a team
Skilled in fostering collaboration, inspiring, persuading, and influencing others
Excellent listener with strong oral and written communication abilities
Strong prioritization skills

Role Location: Skelmersdale, UK
Travel expectations: Potentially travel across UK - <5%
Working pattern : Full-time
