Hybrid Freelance Mid-Weight to Senior Graphic Designers na Christie's

We are inviting expressions of interest from talented freelance mid-weight to senior graphic designers to collaborate with our in-house creative team on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.

As a leading luxury auction house, we require design partners who can be called upon to support major sales, exhibitions, and brand campaigns with work spanning high-end print, large-format graphics, and exhibition collateral.

Nature of Engagement:
This is not a fixed-term role but an opportunity to be considered for future freelance bookings, as and when projects demand. Designers will be engaged on a project-by-project basis, working in close collaboration with our in-house team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver refined, print-ready artwork across sale identities, promotional campaigns, and exhibition materials.
• Collaborate with the exhibitions team to create and supply accurate signage packs, ensuring consistency and precision in large-format applications.
• Bring creative ideas and technical insight to elevate design outcomes, with a focus on craftsmanship, typography, and brand integrity.
• Advise on materials, finishes, and print techniques to achieve the highest quality across all outputs.
   

Candidate Profile:

• Demonstrable professional design experience, ideally within luxury, cultural, or design-led environments.
• A portfolio demonstrating excellence in print and large-format design, with an emphasis on precision, layout, and typographic craft.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Knowledge of project management tool Monday.com is a plus. 
• Strong knowledge of print production processes, substrates, and finishing techniques.
• Highly detail-oriented and able to adapt to varied briefs and timelines.
• Collaborative and adaptable, able to partner effectively with both creative colleagues and department specialists.
