Our industry produces, distributes, and sells atmospheric gases and other specialty products.

Purpose of the Position:

The Senior Analytics Analyst role is focused on advancing significant company initiatives to create market advantages with our data, creating innovative models and insights for our customers, supply partners, internal operations, and business processes. The Senior Analytics Analyst will be responsible for creating robust insights within our data and building cutting edge solutions for the industry. The Senior Analytics Analyst will work cross-functionally with internal teams to identify needs and help drive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Define, build, and implement major analytics solutions and initiatives that drive business value
• Leverage data science techniques including classification, clustering, PCA, regression, time series, etc. to develop unique solutions tailored to the industry
• Analyze business processes to find trends and patterns to automate or optimize work
• Gather business requirements from teams and translate into technical requirements and solutions
• Interpret and communicate data initiatives to all levels of the company, including management
• Develop dashboards leveraging datasets from multiple sources
• Track and refine business KPI’s and analytics results to ensure operations are running smoothly
• Work with Data Integrity team to identify data improvements
• Drive adoption for analytics usage within the company
• Track the Analytics landscape and identify additional techniques and technologies to bring into the EspriGas technology ecosystem
• Keep current on our business and EspriGas best practices
• Conduct operational analytics to highlight customer order behavior, pricing models, etc.
• Create dashboards and analysis shared directly with customers and/or suppliers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Analytics, etc.) or commensurate work experience; Masters degree is a plus
• 2-4 years of related experience working with performing analytics and Data Science techniques
• Coding experience with Python/R, SQL; basic understanding of ETL processes
• Experience with Snowflake (or other cloud data warehouses), dbt, and Fivetran preferred
• Experience working with Salesforce
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge and technical aptitude to learn applications quickly

• Strong visualization and dashboarding experience with Tableau or similar tool
• Strong project management skills and capable of juggling competing priorities across various workstreams
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Drive for continuous learning and improvement to stay current on Analytics landscape
• Effective at prioritizing tasks and managing a workload in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Comfortable owning analytics projects from requirements gathering through delivery, including stakeholder communication, training, and adoption
