We are seeking candidates with Global Information Reporting (GIR) experience who are interested in joining a fast-growing team providing tax co-sourcing/outsourcing services to global Private Equity Funds. Team members are responsible for consulting with the client as if they were their in-house tax department. The opportunity will include working with CBIZ team members, as well as client personnel, virtually and/or at the client location.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• As an Associate within the Global Information Reporting Services practice you will be part of a diverse team abound with the opportunity to grow into a financial industry leader in international tax transparency, transforming Private Equity processes
• Provide compliance services to financial institutions regarding IRC Chapter 3 NRA withholding, IRC Chapter 4 FATCA & the OECD’s Common Reporting Standards
• Prepare and submit IRS 1042, FATCA and CRS returns
• Communicate with Client Investors to obtain, validate and maintain, valid IRS Forms W-8, W-9 and CRS Self-Certifications
• Assist with training and mentoring Client Services Specialists and interns
• Pledge to provide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, responsiveness, and commitment to understanding their goals and needs; and
• Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills
• Ability to multi-task, think independently and solve problems in a results-driven team-oriented environment
• Previous experience with Big 4, CPA firm, law firm or private equity firm in one or more of the following areas: W-8/9 form solicitation and validation, 1042, FATCA or CRS reporting
• Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM, accounting degree or MBA
• CPA or equivalent certification such as EA, JD; desire to obtain certification required
