About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our onsite health clinics at a college with several sites around the greater Los Angeles area (Anaheim, Ontario, Riverside, Alhambra). These clinics provide essential medical clearances for students entering medical and allied health programs. The Operations Coordinator will ensure smooth clinic operations, compliance with medical protocols, and a positive experience for both staff and students.
Please note - you must have reliable transportation for this role as travel is expected 2-4 times per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all coordination with college administrators and corporate operations team in preparation for upcoming clinics
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of onsite clearance clinics, ensuring efficiency and adherence to clinical standards.
- Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and supply management for multiple clinic sites.
- Ensure proper administration of vaccines, including Tdap, Hepatitis B, Rabies, and MMR.
- Oversee and support TB skin testing (PPD) procedures.
- Manage and monitor urine drug test specimen collection following regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee phlebotomy services (blood draws) and ensure safe, professional practice.
- Coordinate mask fit testing processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clinical staff, academic institutions, and students.
- Track clinic performance, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and institutional requirements.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinic coordination, or a related role.
- Knowledge of vaccine administration, specimen collection, and basic medical testing procedures.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA) preferred.
- Ability to travel to clinic sites as needed.
