Job Description
The Academic Affairs Coordinator is responsible for the management of the college's academic schedule, faculty assignments, room scheduling, and curriculum software management in coordination with the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs and the Academic Deans. The position leads various academic initiatives as determined by the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.
Salary Range:
$25.29-36.71/hr, $52,806-76,650 annually
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years professional related work experience or a combination of equivalent work and educational experience.
Knowledge of academic programming.
Ability to understand employment contracts, such as the MCSF (two-year faculty) contract.
Knowledge of standard computer software programs for work processing, spreadsheets, and databases sufficient to create, modify, and protect files.
Knowledge of and/or experience in project management concepts and practices.
Ability to communicate in a variety of formats to gather and relay information with tact and diplomacy.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and affirmative action principles.
Preferred Qualification
Ability to compile, research, and analyze information from databases.
Administrative skills sufficient to perform work functions, such as planning and coordinating work activities and prioritizing, scheduling, and reporting on work projects.
Experience within Minnesota State.
Knowledge of the Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF) Contract.
Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)
Day, 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30
Telework (Yes/No)
Yes, up to two days per week upon approval of supervisor.
