As Director Vocational Sales for the Central Region, you will have an opportunity to lead an amazing team of Vocational District Managers with the goal of strengthening DTNA’s current market leadership position. This will be accomplished through encouragement and support of activities that drive us towards our collective envisioned future. Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
- Develop, implement and execute vocational (and on-highway) region/district sales plans.
- Provide, influence and assist in consummating the sale or lease of trucks and tractors to Central Region customers.
- Keep current with segment and regional market trends and competitors, identify product and financing opportunities for the advancement of Daimler Trucks sales, spearhead solutions through inter-departmental collaboration.
- Provide leadership, sales training, and motivation to district sales managers, dealers, and dealership sales personnel.
- Supervise, coordinate and perform necessary actions within Sales area, in order to keep and maintain quality and environmental certification, comply with Daimler Conduct & Integrity Codes.
- Consolidate, analyze and report region dealer performance. Identify dealer business challenges and facilitate assistance to resolve them.
- Work with Dealer Network Development to ensure that we have the strongest dealer network possible.

Qualifications
- BS/BA +10 years of experience including 4 years of management experience
- Previously demonstrated experience in leadership required
- Previous experience in new truck pricing, concessions and dealer facing roles highly preferred
- Experience in dealer facing roles and relationships
- Knowledge or prior experience working with engineering and/or product marketing functions
- Proven analytical skills with customer focused approach required
- Product specification and application experience preferred
