Paladin Security Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Specimen Courier to support hospital operations at KHSC/PCH. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, providing excellent service, and ensuring critical medical specimens are transported safely and on time.

📍 Kingston, ON | 💼 Temporary, Full-Time | 💰 $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00

What You’ll Do:

• Perform specimen drop-offs and pick-ups between KHSC/PCH hospitals
• Complete documentation for all courier runs, including detailed reports and notes
• Use 2-way radios and cellphone technology for communication
• Deliver time-sensitive items accurately and efficiently
• Manage scheduled pick-ups/drop-offs and respond to Stat deliveries
• Provide above-average customer service to staff and patients
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or deficiencies
• Carry out other courier-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Must Have Criteria:

• Valid Class G driver’s license (or equivalent)
• Clean driver’s abstract from the last 3 years
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk for extended periods
• Proficiency in English (oral and written communication)
• Proof of COVID-19 double vaccination
• Immunization records: MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, and TB Skin Tests (Step 1 & 2)
• Must be able to be clean-shaven for N95 Mask Fit Test
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Fluency in French (oral and written)
• Previous courier or delivery experience
