This full-time opportunity offers multi-disciplinary rotations across our site, giving you exposure to various functions and helping you apply your academic knowledge in a practical, fast-paced workplace.

 

Reporting to the Specialist – Occupational Health within the Health & Safety team, your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Promoting and adhering to QAL’s health, safety, environmental and community policies and procedures
  • Leading our participatory ergonomics program—conducting ergonomic assessments, identifying effective controls, and documenting outcomes
  • Supporting occupational injury management, including work capacity assessments
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of the Job Bank and job demands analyses
  • Delivering engaging presentations to employees and contractors across the site

 

What you will bring

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally bring:

 

  • A recent or near completed Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapist, completed within the last 12 months or due for completion by January 2026
  • A strong personal commitment to safety, both for yourself and those around you
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business
  • A motivated, organised approach to managing workload and priorities
  • Initiative and a growth mindset, with a passion for learning, improvement, and creative problem-solving
