We’re hiring for a PMO Analyst to join our Operations team in London on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

Purpose of the Role

As PMO Analyst you’ll define and maintain the standards for transformation management within their area of the organisation, providing expert guidance, support and insight and the primary source of delivery information and metrics.

You’ll support the PMO in developing clear vision and standards and championing the use of best practice transformation management standards and processes. Building productive relationships with PMO Managers, key functions and professions you’ll communicate key messages, drive communities, events and provide a voice for the Transformation profession.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Programme/Project Manager in the development and tracking of the business case, budgets and benefits, with input from specialists as necessary and alignment with senior stakeholders.
  • Support the PMO team and supports the Programme/Project Manager in the identification, recruitment, development, deployment and reassignment of resources throughout the programme/project lifecycle.
  • Manages and influences senior relationships across programmes/projects, the department and across organisation. Builds strategic relationships with internal and external suppliers.
  • Establishes the project processes and standards for managing risks and issues, driving continuous improvement of Risks and Issues management process within the department.
  • Ensures appropriate governance is in place and arranges external reviews e.g. Gate Reviews at appropriate points in the project lifecycle, monitoring the effectiveness of controls and ensures that recommendations from external reviews are acted upon.
  • Establishes and operates programme/project controls on behalf of the programme/project manager, reporting on progress and status to appropriate bodies, identifying common capabilities and opportunities for linking up, re-using and sharing of methods and resources between projects and programmes.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Exposure to portfolio management and strategic planning with the ability to apply enterprise established delivery frameworks.
  • Experience working in a matrixed or multi-market organisation.
  • An understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to transformation delivery.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware mindset.
  • Ability to work across a portfolio of work, establishing priorities and openly communicating with a range of stakeholders.

What we offer

This is a fixed term role for 12 months.

The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Tuesday and Thursday.
