Mission Intelligence Group is excited to announce an opening for a Network Systems Engineer within the N2W Active IT and project team. In this key position, you'll leverage your expertise in systems engineering, network architecture, and project management to support the strategic goals of the N2W IT Program. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, testing, and evaluating LAN/WAN technologies that are crucial for delivering N2W Active IT architecture components. You will assist the Government in defining and refining LAN/WAN design and requirements while conducting technical assessments to enhance network operations across N2W facilities. As a vital contact for the N2W Program Office, you will collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to explore future IT technologies-such as secure wireless, multi-level security, and cloud solutions-assessing their business impact and developing implementation strategies.

Close collaboration with both contractor and government personnel will be essential in resolving technical challenges within a multi-contractor environment, making this position an engaging opportunity for motivated professionals eager to make a significant impact.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Math / Science / Engineering or IT related degree.
  • 12 years of technical experience is required, to include:
    • 10 years of demonstrated experience developing networking technologies such as routing, circuit switching, packet switching, multiprotocol label switching (MPLS), and encapsulation protocols, as well as their accompanying international, government, or industry standards.
    • 4 years of IT planning/scheduling/requirements development experience supporting a large and complex IT program similar to the N2W effort.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing DoD/IC secure wireless strategies and policies, such as Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC).
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • M.S. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT related degree.
  • 2 years of technical experience providing transport support for IC/National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) systems network infrastructure. LAN/WAN certifications (e.g., CCIE, CWEE, CCDA, JNCP, JNCIS, JNCIP)
