Job Summary:
The Camp Engagement Coordinator supports camper and visitor engagement across multiple GSNETX camp properties, ensuring a welcoming, responsive, and mission-aligned experience for all. This role plays a key part in delivering the Girl Scout mission by engaging, serving, and retaining members through excellent communication, case management, cross-functional collaboration, and outreach. The Camp Engagement Coordinator reports to the Camp Operations Manager and is part of a team stewarding four camp properties dedicated to building girls of courage, confidence, and character through community life outdoors.
Essential Functions:
•Visitor & Camper Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for camp inquiries, camper cases, and visitor needs related to camp.
•Registration & Rosters: Provide registration services, manage rosters, and help increase enrollment and retention through outreach and responsive service.
•Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Customer Care, Program, and other teams to ensure consistent, mission-aligned experiences and communications.
•Event & Community Support: Represent GSNETX at summer camp fairs, hiring events, and community outreach opportunities.
•Staffing & Onboarding: Support summer staff hiring paperwork and onboarding processes, collaborating with Human Resources to streamline and automate where possible.
•Resourcing & Logistics: Assist with ordering supplies and managing logistics to support camp programs and visitor needs.
•Onsite Support: Provide in-person support at camp on Saturdays during the school year, during summer, and for key events, including for registration, activity facilitation, food service, and more.
Other:
•Full-time, primarily Tuesday–Saturday during the school year with alternate work schedule for summer needs, including evenings and weekends as needed. Location is split between JoAnn Fogg Headquarters, camp properties, community sites and other locations with hybrid option for remote work some days. Travel to camp properties as needed.
•Must have reliable transportation, hold a valid driver’s license and meet GSNETX driving record & automobile insurance requirements.
•Performs other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
•2+ years in camp or youth programs, customer service, or operations
•Strong communication and organizational skills
•Experience with registration systems and case tracking
•Comfort working across departments and locations
•Bachelor’s degree preferred

•Upon employment, employee must register as an adult member in the Girl Scout organization and subscribe to the tenets of the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
•Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, before and after hours, and on weekends, when required.
•Must complete and pass a criminal background check.
