The Cultivation Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing the growth and health of our cannabis plants. This role would be ideal for someone with a passion for plant care and a talent for leadership within a dynamic cultivation environment.
What does the day-to-day look like?
- Lead, mentor, and train Cultivation Agents to ensure best practices in plant care.
- Oversee daily cultivation tasks, including fertilization, pest monitoring, and plant training.
- Maintain detailed cultivation logs, tracking plant health, growth stages, and environmental conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all company SOPs, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor and maintain optimal environmental conditions for plant growth.
- Assist with troubleshooting plant health issues and implementing corrective measures.
- Keep grow areas clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize harvest schedules and production goals.
- Support research and development efforts to improve cultivation techniques.
- Maintain inventory of cultivation supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
You're a great fit if you
- You’re at least 21 years of age or older.
- Have a foundational knowledge of plant structure and horticulture, with a keen eye for detail.
- Have previously led a team (at least 1 year of experience), providing clear instructions, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Are eager to engage in continuous learning about advanced cultivation techniques and facility operations.
- Can bend, climb, squat, twist, kneels and stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
