River Valley Family Health Centers is looking for an experienced Family Practice Physician to join our Primary Care Clinic in Delta and Montrose. The Physician position is a full-time, salaried exempt position; 40 hours per week. We are a growing, exciting place to work, serving our community in a variety of ways. A day in the life of a Physician includes:
- Providing direct patient care by assessing patient health, performing physical examinations, obtaining health histories, and developing and implementing patient management plans.
- Performing therapeutic procedures by administering injection, suturing, casting, splinting, removal of foreign bodies, managing wounds and infections, etc.
- Provide patient education at time of service, including anticipatory guidance, information about chronic care, disease prevention, and the promotion of health maintenance.
- Collaborates with Behavioral Health, Primary Care, and Dental Providers to encourage integrated health.

Compensation and Benefits
- $200,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience and certifications

Qualifications
- Unrestricted and current Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine license in the State of Colorado, and DEA registration.
- 5+ years of related experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred.
- Ability to travel between clinics as needed.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with team members, patients, families, and others.
- Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with individuals and groups of diverse racial, ethnic, economic, and social backgrounds.
- Ability to utilize a computer for time keeping, documenting electronic medical records, and to complete follow-up tasks.
- A caring, kind, and professional bedside manner.
- Ability to be a team player and to support and assist team members as needed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
This position requires long periods of standing and walking, sitting at a computer, the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, etc. Employees are exposed to blood, body fluids, and other occupational hazards, and are required to complete mandatory vaccines, such as Tdap, Hep A, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and the yearly flu vaccine.
