The Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement, is a key member of the Commercial Operations team, responsible for managing and optimizing business-critical systems at Kiniksa. This includes systems and tools supporting Patient Services (e.g., Salesforce Health Cloud, Genesys, Relay) and Marketing (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Veeva PromoMats). The role also collaborates with colleagues on Veeva CRM and Tableau.
 
This individual will ensure commercial systems and tools are effectively utilized, understood, and supported through training and enablement. Acting as the voice of the customer, the Associate Director will translate business needs into actionable product requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
 
Reporting to the Associate Director, Sales Ops and Commercial Enablement, this role offers high visibility. It requires close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Patient Services, IT, Finance, Sales, and Compliance.

This role is based in our Lexington office. Our office-based employees follow a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Own the strategic partnership between Commercial Operations, Patient Services, and Marketing to drive improved technologies and operational capabilities.  
  • Be a strategic partner to Patient Services and Marketing by identifying and championing opportunities for innovation in commercial technology platforms through ongoing engagement with business owners and end users. 
  • Support the development and prioritization of the product roadmap, aligning initiatives with long-term strategic objectives and capability evolution.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and business rules. Work with IT and functional leaders to prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Partner with IT to develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for system enhancements, ensuring features meet business expectations and deliver value.
  • Develop a robust understanding of business strategies and operational expectations, and link these to metrics defining success.  Generate business rules for standardized reporting and collaborate with analytics partners to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Contribute to the identification of knowledge gaps and creation of onboarding materials and training plans to support new Patient Services employees and ensure effective system adoption.
  • Support in the delivery of broader commercial operations systems initiatives as needed.
  • Adherence to Kiniksa Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory principles and practices at all times. 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required; MS or MBA preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical/Biotech and/or Med Device/Med Tech experience required
  • 3+ years in Salesforce product ownership, Commercial Operations, Marketing Operations, or IT.
  • Salesforce Platform Administrator or Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator certifications preferred
  • Working experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Health/Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud required
  • Experience enhancing Veeva PromoMats, Genesys, and Relay preferred
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong conflict management and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into product roadmaps and feature development
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Ability to travel as needed.
