The Production Lead, under the direction of the Entertainment Manager, is responsible for coordinating staffing for all production needs of entertainment acts. The position is responsible for all casino entertainment production equipment at all Kewadin Casinos locations, as well as assisting Banquet staff, ensuring proper A/V equipment for their events. The position is responsible for providing attentive, cheerful, courteous, professional customer service to all customers, internal and external, striving to always exceed their expectations.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (includes, but is not limited to, the following)


  • Create excellent customer relationships and provides top notch customer service by following the company's Customer Service Standards.
  • Work with talent's tour manager(s) and coordinates productions from load in to load out, ensuring all needs are met.
  • Work with selected talent agency production contact to make sure all required production will be ready for each show day.
  • Work with audio, lighting, staging, and musical equipment.
  • Ensure the department is staffed accordingly for shows, events, and projects; works with labor subcontractor to ensure we have enough staffing for show days.
  • Act as a steward for events as needed.
  • Ensure all projects assigned by Entertainment Manager are completed efficiently and accurately.




ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (includes, but is not limited to, the following)


  • Complete all mandatory supervisory and management trainings.
  • Attend meetings including departmental and mandatory meetings as needed.
  • All other job-related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Position heavy with lifting of 100 pounds maximum and frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds. Physical factors include constant standing, walking, use of hearing; frequent sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, manual handling, typing, bending; occasional travel, use of near/midrange/far vision, depth perception, color/field of vision. Working conditions include constant exposure to noise, vibration and air quality and occasional exposure to weather. Potential hazards include constant exposure to moving mechanical parts,


REQUIREMENTS:


Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.


Experience: Five years of entertainment production experience is required.


Certification/License: N/A


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of large-scale audio and lighting gear required. Knowledge of and ability to use word processing and spreadsheet and data base software required. Must possess excellent communication skills, and effective public speaking skills. Must have basic troubleshooting skills for electronics, lighting, and audio equipment. Proper telephone etiquette and typing skills required. Strong customer service skills and excellent organizational skills required. Must have excellent public relation/customer service skills and be able to exhibit a friendly and positive attitude. Strong organizational skills required. Problem solving and analytical skills required. Ability to independently plan, organize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions and judgments relating to assigned projects and other responsibilities required. Use critical thinking to develop alternative solutions to problems required. Must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to work extended hours when needed. Must be able to handle stress and meet deadlines. Must be able to work with minimal to no supervision. Must be able to establish and maintain effective communication with co-workers, supervisors and the general public. Must maintain confidentiality. Native American preferred.
