Responsibilities 

• Oversee and manage the Dietary team, including Cooks and Dietary Aides
• Manage the Dietary Department budget
• Complete inventory and ordering based on each month’s menu
• Review dietary restrictions of residents and plan creative and nutritious meals
• Complete department interviews and job offers
• Oversee staff training based on company policies and expectations
• Schedule Dietary Department staff and ensure proper coverage
• Ensure the proper care, use, and cleaning of kitchen equipment

Requirements 

• Certified Dietary Manager certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Supervisory experience, preferably in the food service industry
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain
• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work some weekend and evening shifts as needed
