About the Role

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Developer to join our Project Forward team, supporting Actuarial, Risk & Governance initiatives. In this role, you’ll lead the development of the FOrwARD pipeline, delivering end-to-end solutions that drive strategic business outcomes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, influence technical decisions, and champion Agile ways of working.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design & Architecture: Build scalable and maintainable systems aligned with business goals.
  • Technical Leadership: Make key decisions on tools, frameworks, and development approaches.
  • Full Lifecycle Delivery: From concept to release, you’ll own the development process.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts, Testers, and Product Owners to bring ideas to life.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentorship: Act as a thought leader and mentor for developers across the platform.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards and reduce technical debt.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, testing, or Agile delivery (Scrum Master experience highly regarded).
  • Proven success in complex actuarial or statistical environments.
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering value.
  • Collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
