We manage the CRN %26ndash; Country Regional Network, ensuring safe transportation of people and goods across NSW.%3C/p%3E%0A%3Cp style=%22font-family: Arial;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3E%3Cbr%3EJob Purpose%3Cbr%3E%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3EThe role of Contracts Manager on UGL Regional Linx is critical to ensure the successful delivery of all downstream procurement activities, necessary to allow the delivery of UGLRL%26rsquo;s maintenance obligations under the O%26amp;M Deed with TfNSW.%3Cbr%3EReporting to the Legal and Commercial Manager, you will be primarily responsible for providing commercial and contractual expertise for the administration of downstream sub-contracts.%26nbsp;%3Cbr%3EYou will work closely with the Procurement Manager and Contract Manager upstream to manage all commercial, procurement and financial aspects of contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with UGLRL obligations and policies at a project and company level. The Contracts Manager will be required to manage a number of staff as part of the Commercial team structure as determined by the Legal and Commercial Manager.%3C/p%3E%0A%3Cp style=%22font-family: Arial;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3E%3Cbr%3EKey Responsibilities%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3EAssisting with downstream commercial pre-contract activities including EOI%26rsquo;s, Tenders and%26nbsp;Confidentiality Agreements.%3Cbr%3EAnalyse, negotiate and settle downstream commercial positions to achieve strong commercial positions which safeguard UGL%26rsquo;s interests.%26nbsp;%3Cbr%3EPrepare and review contracts (including scope of works) for their execution (MPM and Enhancements).%3Cbr%3EPrepare and review RFAs for contracts to be executed.%3Cbr%3EEnsure strong compliance to the UGL Procurement Policy and procedures across the project/ contract.%3Cbr%3EManage downstream contracts, including any claims or disputes.%3Cbr%3EDevelop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.%3Cbr%3EMaintain complete contractual records, correspondence, proposed changes to contracts, warranties,%3Cbr%3Edelays, extensions of time and other contract management functions as per UGL standards and%26nbsp;processes.%3Cbr%3ELeading and managing team of Contract Administrators.%3C/p%3E%0A%3Cp style=%22font-family: Arial;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3EQualifications%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%0A%3Cp style=%22font-family: Arial;%22%3EDegree qualified in either Engineering, Law or Construction Management is preferred but not essential%3Cbr%3EAbility to achieve outcomes in an environment of managing complex stakeholder relationships, including key business partners.%3Cbr%3EExperience in a contract management role within a projects environment, including negotiation of contracts, contract management and dispute resolution.%3C/p%3E%0A%3Cp style=%22font-family: Arial;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3EAbout Us%3Cbr%3E%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3EUGL is renowned for providing comprehensive engineering, construction, and maintenance services across various sectors, including rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables, water, and defense.
