Description
We are currently seeking an eager and motivated Welder to join our dynamic team for a project at the Red Deer location. As an Welder, you will assist with the fabrication and assembly of components for various solar projects, using your hands-on experience and working with experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Measure, fitting and fabrication tasks, with precision and quality
- Operate equipment, overhead crane, plasma cutter, bandsaw, and standard welding tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Report any issues or potential hazards to the Welding Supervisor
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding work processes and safety
Requirements
Experience with MIG welding, and interpreting blueprints/engineered drawings
Journeyman by hand is preferred but experience and skill will be accepted
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Understanding of basic safety practices and willingness to follow safety protocols
Flexibility to work additional hours, including overtime, as project demands require
