We’re looking for a caring, energetic individual to provide respite care for two fun, active young boys with special needs! What’s the role?You’ll be helping two active boys who love playing games, building with Legos, and staying active. It’s the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of caregiving and special needs, all while having fun! Your Responsibilities: • Engage with the boys: Play board games, build with Legos, and participate in fun activities to keep them active and entertained. • Behavior management: Use redirection and de-escalation techniques to help the boys stay calm and confident. • Support their independence: Encourage the boys to develop new skills and build their self-confidence. • Be a positive role model: Offer guidance, companionship, and lots of fun! Ideal Candidate: • Energetic & compassionate: You love working with kids, are patient, and have a passion for helping others. • Flexible & reliable: You can work with a flexible schedule and are reliable when it comes to showing up for the kids. • Experience with special needs is a plus, but we are also happy to train the right person with the right attitude!
