Monroe Village is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our team!

Monroe Village is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Monroe, NJ. At Springpoint, the Director of Sales is responsible for selling independent living residences, assisted living suites, facilitating move-ins, representing the community during the sales process and management, motivation and supervision of the Sales Counselors and Sales Coordinators consistent with SSL philosophy. Responsible for explaining and communicating all the regulations, policies and procedures associated with residency at the community to the prospect and coordinating with administration.

Responsibilities: 

  • Participates in market planning, problem solving, meetings and events. Contributes ideas to VP of Sales regarding setting and achieving goals.
  • Assists in hiring, motivating and training of Sales Counselors and Sales Coordinators.
  • Monitors and improves sales effectiveness of Sales Counselors and ensures implementation of the SSL sales and marketing program requirements and performance expectations.
  • Manages the sales process from first inquiry to receipt of deposit to move-in.
  • Meets sales activity and sales ratio goals as outlined in the annual marketing plan and quarterly marketing sales activities expectation thresholds plan.
  • Meets sales and move-in objectives as outlined in the annual marketing plan.
  • Professionally manages all information relating to the prospective resident/inquiry: communication with administration, communication with direct supervision and accurate documentation of all contact in the leads tracking system- Aline.
  • Promotes the sales process through ongoing contact with a prospective resident via telephone, personal visits, tours and home visit activities as appropriate.
  • Reviews weekly / monthly sales and closing report information for accuracy and updates leads tracking system- Aline.
  • Keeps updated about relevant, operational, competitive, and company information.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Five years of experience in comparable position is preferred; education or experience in marketing, public relations, promotions or sales is desirable.
  • Two years sales and marketing experience in the senior housing industry or related experience.
  • Two years’ experience in managing teams.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 / year + generous commission structure/bonus eligibility
