The Director of Training is responsible for leading the company’s training delivery function, managing a Training Manager and Training Facilitator. This role works closely with Sales Leadership and the Learning & Development (L&D) team to ensure all training content is current, engaging, and aligned with business goals. This is a leadership role that balances people management, operational oversight, and hands-on facilitation when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all new hire onboarding for sales hires, ensuring smooth ramp-up and performance readiness.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to identify training needs and adjust programs accordingly.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Training Manager and Facilitator, ensuring consistent and high-quality training delivery.
- Ensure training is aligned with compliance and industry regulations for debt settlement.
- Monitor training KPIs (e.g., ramp-up time, retention, conversion rates) and implement improvements.
- Partner with L&D to ensure all training materials are up-to-date and accessible.
- Occasionally step in to deliver or co-facilitate training sessions as needed.
- Maintain an efficient training schedule to meet monthly hiring demands.
- 5+ years in training leadership, preferably in high-volume sales environments.
- Direct experience in debt settlement or a similar financial services industry (required).
- Proven success managing training teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, L&D, and Operations.
- Data-driven approach to training effectiveness and optimization.
