MANTECH seeks a motivated and career-focused Senior Systems Engineer to join our team onsite in Washington, D.C.In this role you will play a vital role in planning and designing enterprise systems infrastructure while providing deep technical expertise on complex systems integration challenges. This position is ideal for candidates who excel in systems engineering, troubleshooting, and collaborative leadership.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise systems infrastructure, covering both hardware and software componentsAnalyze and enhance system performance by developing, testing, and modifying configurationsConduct system verification and validation to ensure compliance with internal and external standardsTroubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions to optimize system operationsOversee project planning activities including scheduling, budgeting, and technical documentationCollaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and meet project goalsServe as a subject matter expert and may lead teams on complex engineering projectsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering10+ years of relevant systems engineering experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting or working directly with the U.S. Navy, either as active duty, a government civilian, or a support contractorFamiliarity with U.S. Navy technical authority, such as NAVSEA 05Experience working with U.S. Navy Program Managers in an analyst capacityClearance Requirements:Must hold an active Top-Secret clearance.Physical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
