Overview:

Delaware North Travel is searching for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at the New Orleans Airport in New Orleans, Louisiana. As the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will work closely with the management team to ensure high standards of service, quality, and efficiency across all outlets. You will help oversee daily operations, support inventory management, assist with training, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

On July 10, 2025, Delaware North announced its US-based Travel Hospitality Services (THS) business will be sold to Areas, a global leader in travel dining and retail. Unit Description:

For more than 35 years, Delaware North has provided hospitality services at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Travelers can expect an authentic taste of The Big Easy with dining options including Folse Market, Leah's Kitchen, and Ye Old College Inn.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the hiring process while effectively training, managing, and leading team members. Provide performance feedback and corrective action when required, ensuring a high quality of service is delivered with a positive team member and guest experience
  • Prepare cost and operational reporting, and verify the reporting of cash handling, sales, and payroll accounting
  • Maintain the implementation of appropriate sanitation standards and procedures
  • Ensure equipment maintenance is completed when necessary and operation areas are always running successfully
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant or food and beverage operation is required
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and inventory control procedures, with an understanding of standard food and beverage equipment operation
  • No college degree required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic organizational and mathematical abilities
