Fairview Range is hiring a Health Information Liaison to join our Health Information Management Department in Hibbing, MN!
In this role, you will manually index documents to the correct document type as established by corporate policy, minimize duplicate records and overlap entries, verifies data integrity, and coordinates information with EPIC. Additionally, the Health Information Liaison reviews the electronic content management system and records contained within for appropriate image quality and reviewing. This list of responsibilities is not comprehensive, and additional tasks may be assigned in the future as needed.
Schedule: This position will work 72-80 hours per two weeks. This shift length will be 8 hours on the Day shift. Weekends: None

As a Health Information Liaison, you will be responsible for:
- Batching, creating, prepping, scanning and QC.
- Confirming applicable identifiers.
- Maintaining within the productivity standards of images/hr while performing the review process.
- Reviewing each image in the batch and verify the following: A: Correct patient name and encounter B: Correct Document Type C: Proper indexing D: Imaging quality (readable, orientation, multiple sides, etc.).
- Maintaining within the productivity standards assigned to the QA position.
- Processing Release of Information (ROI) requests as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) years in Health Information Department
- Associate degree
- Completion of medical terminology course
- RHIT preferred
$17.68-$25.28 Hourly
