Requirements
Summary
The role is responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts and materials necessary for maintenance operations. This includes ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing parts, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Additionally, the role ensures the efficient operation of the parts room or storeroom.
Essential Functions
- Schedule equipment service and repairs according to the established timetable or as directed.
- Monitor maintenance calendars to ensure tasks are completed accurately, thoroughly, and on time.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with planning and scheduling for shutdowns.
- Aid in the qualification and assessment of equipment.
- Ensure that permits and calibrations are current and well-organized.
- Verify that equipment asset numbers are accurate and assigned as necessary.
- Clean and help maintain the facilities.
- Assist the Parts Room Clerk as needed in identifying and requesting quotes for parts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Expected Hours of Work

Required Education and Experience
- Associates in an applicable field or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in a parts room, warehouse, or maintenance support role
