As the Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will support day-to-day commercial operations, help execute initiatives that strengthen our brand and support all internal communications efforts for Alside.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely production and delivery of marketing materials.
- Assist in the creation, updating and implementation of marketing materials.
- Help plan and support commercial team events and training, both on-site and off-site including scheduling, logistics, set-up.
- Manage the training calendar of products for our sales teams. You will be working with the category team and suppliers to schedule training, ensuring execution and follow up.
- Lead execution of Alside internal communications initiatives in collaboration with Associated Materials' communication team.
- Host supplier, partner or vendor meetings in the office which includes scheduling, setting up the office, pre meeting details and following up after the meeting
- Support communications internally through both a recurring cadence of activities such as employee meetings, and event-driven opportunities based on company activities and initiatives
- Be the contact for our Alside Supply Centers that need commercial support, route questions to the right commercial team members and ensure follow up
- Manage and/or create internal communications vehicles and processes, including SharePoint in accordance with Associated Materials brand guidelines and communication strategy
- Draft compelling and succinct talking points and related materials for internal or customer facing events
- Maintain the Atlanta office; order supplies, manage guest passes, order food and beverages needed for meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related communications discipline or field (e.g., business, marketing, sales, journalism, public relations, English)
- Comfortable with all Microsoft products including drafting PowerPoint presentations, light excel work an Sharepoint
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including ability to provide counsel to key leaders and present to large groups of people
- Comfort in directly supporting executive communications needs
- Exceptional project management skills and superior attention to detail
