Your Role
Are you ready to help shape the reputation of some of Australia and New Zealand’s most trusted insurance brands?
IAG is looking for a passionate and proactive communications professional to support our Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team. In this fast-paced and varied role, you’ll monitor social and media coverage, track reputational risks, and help the team deliver timely, effective communication outcomes.
You’ll manage our media measurement and reporting, support issues management, and contribute to major advocacy campaigns. From writing media releases to publishing on our social channels and generating engaging content, your work will help protect and promote IAG and its consumer brands’, which include NRMA Insurance and CGU, voices in the market.
You’ll also play a key role in the daily running of the IAG Newsroom and work closely with stakeholders across the business.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Gadigal Country (Sydney).
About You
Up to 3 years industry experience preferred
Experience as a journalist, in a corporate public affairs team or in a communications agency
Strong communication skills, particularly writing and verbal communications.
An understanding of the way the media operates.
Initiative and a can-do attitude.
Attention to detail.
Strong interest in corporate communications and current affairs.
University qualifications
Ability to use databases / PowerPoint / word skills.
